C/ARTE - Elisa Bozzi

C/ARTE è il titolo della stagione di mostre ospitata dalla libreria Bookbank, che sono ormai arrivate al quinto anno. Vista la forte caratterizzazione del luogo si è pensato fin dall'inizio di dare una forte caratterizzazione anche alle esposizioni, che hanno tutte un legame con la carta.

La carta usata come mezzo espressivo, come supporto, il libro, inteso sia come medium sia come protagonista, fatto di pagine fisiche ma anche di storie da raccontare.Si va dalle piccole opere su carta al libro d'artista, fino ad arrivare alle fotografie. Una serie di piccoli eventi artistici mirati, pensati ad hoc per la location in cui si svolgono.

Elisa Bozzi lavora nelle Public Relations e si occupa dell'organizzazione di mostre d'arte contemporanea. Laureata in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali presso l'Università degli Studi di Parma, ha collaborato con la Galleria Biffi Arte e con l'Associazione Klematis di Piacenza. A partire dal settembre del 2013 è curatrice della stagione di mostre C/Arte della libreria Bookbank di Piacenza.

C/ARTE refers to a set of exhibitions hosted by Bookbank library, which is currently in its fifth edition. According to the strong characterization of the site, the exhibitions have been as well marked by the deep connection to paper. The paper is meant as expressive tool, as a support, as book. It is intended both as medium and as main character, for it is made of pages as well as stories. The exhibitions involve small artworks on paper and artist book projects, not to mention photography. C/ARTE involves also a set of site-specific artistic events, meant to properly match the venue they are performed into.

Elisa Bozzi works in Public relations and is also involved into the organisation of contemporary art exhibitions. She graduated at the University of Parma and she cooperated with Galleria Biffi Arte and Associazione Klematis in Piacenza. Starting from September 2013 she is curating the C/ARTE project at the Bookbank Library in Piacenza.
